MooseRank field tool / 01
Does this city need
its own page?
See which pages Google ranks for your service and town. Use the evidence to choose what to build—or what to improve.
How to read the evidence
Three searches, one location
We compare your service + town, a close service variation, and the service without a town modifier. All use the selected US location, mobile Android and English. Ads and map results are separate from the ten organic positions.
Content before classification
We read accessible titles, main headings and page text. A homepage can be highly local. A city name in a URL alone is insufficient. Unreadable pages are marked tentative and cannot establish the recommendation.
A pattern, with reasons
A local-page recommendation requires at least four supported local pages from three businesses in the primary results, plus three in the related search. A broader-page pattern requires five supported broader pages and four in the related search, with at most two supported local pages in the primary results. Other patterns remain mixed.
These are MooseRank’s review rules, not Google ranking factors. Search results do not prove causation, page eligibility or future rankings. Your business must serve the area and provide useful content. A branch needs a real customer-facing location.
