Our AI agents investigate the plumbing businesses customers already find. A human reviews the patterns and turns useful evidence into service pages, local search improvements, clearer call paths, and a campaign measured against your business.
Make emergency eligibility and actual coverage easy to recognize.
Follow calls through qualification and scheduled work.
Start with a kickoff call and access requests. A new website is often the first deliverable when the current foundation needs rebuilding. We then implement the agreed search priorities and review conversions monthly.
MooseRank reports reaching the #1 organic result for an industry + Long Island search in every industry featured on this site, each in under eight months.

Original MooseRank observations / October 29, 2026 / n = 3
What the local homepages have in common.
We used our keyword tracker to collect results for three searches: “plumber Long Island,” “plumbing company Long Island,” and “plumbing services Long Island.” They returned 27 organic rows. The primary query returned nine organic results; we selected three qualifying business websites after verification review and inspected their homepages.
Mike and L & J ranked with homepages. Mr. Rooter ranked with an emergency-service page; we inspected its Long Island franchise homepage separately. The sample mixes two local companies with one national-brand franchise, and does not control for brand or domain strength.
3/3
Name their local coverage
Every reviewed homepage identifies Long Island or a county-level service focus. One is a local franchise homepage.
3/3
Link to core service families
Water-heater and drain-service destinations are linked from each homepage.
3/3
Publish credential claims
Licensing or insurance wording appears on every reviewed homepage. Claims were not independently verified.
1/3
Restricts a 24-hour offer
L & J specifies commercial-only emergency service. Office hours and 24/7 scheduling are different statements and are not counted as the same restriction.
Source coverage: All three benchmark homepages were inspected directly and checked in a browser. A business’s credential claim is not independent verification.
These are competitor observations, not MooseRank client results. Availability and credential statements are attributed to the businesses that published them.

Common features can suggest what Google may be rewarding. The useful next step is to test whether the same feature serves your customer and reflects your actual business.
01 / Local coverage appears in 3 of 3
Make the service and territory clear.
Interpretation: specific service and place information may help customers recognize a relevant provider. This study cannot separate that content from proximity, links, brand prominence, or site history.
Action: connect supported plumbing work to real coverage. Add useful local evidence and clear contact details before expanding the page count.
02 / Service-family links appear in 3 of 3
Give different jobs useful destinations.
Interpretation: a water-heater decision and a drain problem need different detail. The sample supports investigating that architecture; it does not establish a required number of pages.
Action: choose coherent service owners, explain capabilities and buying questions, and connect the homepage to the relevant destinations.
03 / One explicit 24-hour restriction
Make emergency eligibility easy to understand.
Interpretation: L & J’s commercial-only restriction illustrates why emergency eligibility matters. Office hours, scheduling availability, and an arrival promise are different facts. Their effect on rankings is unknown.
Action: align hours, residential or commercial scope, membership terms where relevant, and the call path with the service the team can actually deliver.
AI niche analysis / Human-reviewed strategy
Your niche. Its search results. A more informed plan.
Our AI agents study the plumbing businesses appearing for your services and local territory to find patterns in the pages Google currently surfaces. A human checks the evidence and decides which findings fit your business, customers, and capacity.
Emergency repairs, planned water-heater work, drain problems, and commercial maintenance are different buying decisions. We study the local provider pages behind those decisions.
01
Qualify the businesses before comparing them.
Check business identity, operating evidence, and accessible primary sources before including a site. Exclude insufficiently verified examples, record substitutions, and distinguish local companies from franchise or national-brand pages. Then compare service detail, local relevance, proof, internal links, and customer actions.
02
Measure the recurring features.
Record the query, search origin, date, selected pages, and observable features. Original sample counts make a recommendation inspectable; they describe the pages studied, rather than the entire industry.
03
Turn the evidence into priorities.
Compare service coverage, useful service-page owners, verifiable business proof, emergency eligibility, and the path to a suitable call. Our agents flag what may be helping those pages compete; a human validates the observations and chooses what to test.
Shared features suggest hypotheses about what Google may be rewarding. They do not isolate ranking causes: links, business prominence, proximity, site history, and other factors can also matter.
Collection: October 29, 2026; Google organic live results through DataForSEO; Huntington, New York origin; English; desktop/Windows; depth 10 requested. Each search returned nine organic rows.
Selection: the primary result set contained nine organic entries. After excluding one insufficiently verified site, three off-platform Facebook profiles/posts, and a directory result, the first three eligible provider websites appeared at organic positions 2, 6, and 7. The original result list and exclusions remain in the methodology download. Ads and Maps are outside this comparison.
Checks: public HTML samples covered eight pages each for Mike and L & J and three pages for Mr. Rooter. All three benchmark homepages received rendered checks. Mr. Rooter’s local franchise homepage is distinguished from the national corporate homepage. The linked downloads preserve the counts, sources, settings, and selection record.
Before the campaign
Plumber SEO questions.
How does a MooseRank campaign start?
We begin with a kickoff call and access requests, agree the priority work and measurement, and review the website foundation. A new website is often the first deliverable when rebuilding is needed. The proposal confirms scope and implementation responsibilities. Clients can communicate through WhatsApp, email or text as the work needs.
How long will it take to see results?
The starting website, competition, service or product priorities, evidence and implementation affect the timeline. MooseRank reports reaching number one organically for industry plus Long Island searches in under eight months in past campaigns; that is an owner-reported track record, not a promise for a new engagement. We agree milestones around the work and review traffic, impressions and conversions monthly.
How do your AI agents research plumbing SEO?
We define the plumbing services, market, and customer searches, collect relevant results, qualify comparable businesses, and inspect their ranking pages and homepages. Agents identify recurring features and possible gaps. A human checks the observations and selects recommendations that fit the client's actual services, territory, proof, and operating capacity.
What does the Long Island plumbing study establish?
It records an October 29, 2026 Google desktop snapshot from Huntington and a comparison of the first three qualifying business websites for plumber Long Island. Their organic positions were 2, 6, and 7 after qualification exclusions, including social and directory results. One benchmark is a local franchise of a national brand. It describes observed homepage features and source limitations. It does not establish which features caused rankings or how much traffic, revenue, or work those businesses receive.
Should every plumbing service and town have a separate page?
No. A separate page needs a distinct customer decision, real service capability, sufficient useful information, and a meaningful place in the site. Water-heater work and drain problems may need different explanations. Closely related terms can share a page, and town pages need genuine coverage and local evidence rather than interchangeable place names.
Do you improve Google Maps as well as the website?
Local SEO can connect eligible Google Business Profile information, real service coverage, website pages, contact consistency, relevant local evidence, and inquiry measurement. The proposal confirms the work and access required. More service-area entries or location pages do not guarantee a wider Maps ranking radius.
Can we combine Google Ads with plumber SEO?
Yes. Google Ads can begin reaching relevant searches after setup, approval, and launch while organic SEO develops over time. SEO can continue producing useful search entrances after individual improvements are delivered, although rankings require ongoing attention. Neither channel guarantees calls or jobs. Ads management and advertising spend are separate from the SEO engagement.
What does plumber SEO cost?
MooseRank's published website and SEO package is for single-location local service businesses: $2,500 USD in month one for the website and SEO foundation, then $1,095 USD per month from month two. The proposal confirms the approved scope. Multi-location and franchise plumbing businesses receive a custom quote.
What will we measure each month?
Clients receive monthly conversion reports focused on traffic, impressions, and conversions. For plumbing, we agree how calls and forms can be connected to service type, territory, qualification, and booked work. Closed-job or revenue analysis depends on the records the business can provide. Visibility and call counts alone do not establish profitable growth.
